Inter-Acting Workshop Series
Empower audiences to not just see the story.... but LIVE it!
In this 5-week training series, you'll learn performance techniques that transform "audience" members into active players in a fictional world. Think The Truman Show (or Jury Duty) if Truman (or Ronald) knowingly opted into their fictional reality. This workshop series is built on Jeff Wirth's foundational techniques, adapted from the curriculum he lays out in his new book Interactive Performance 101, and the work of the interactive Deep Dive, a 9-month training program lead by Jeff that workshop leader Christy participated in. Check out this article series in The Verge to read more about that team's work.
The series will culminate in a workshop performance to get hands-on experience working with participants.

Who it's for:
The workshop is for you if you are a performer of any kind who is interested in learning how to create fictional experiences that invite audience members to play an active role in the narrative.
Due to the highly interactive nature of this work, space is very limited. This application is intended to allow us to spread the invitation beyond our existing circle, not because of any particular application requirements. We expect everyone to be a beginner in at least one aspect of the work and encourage everyone to apply regardless of previous experience.
This workshop will be led by Christy Casey, Krishnan Unnikrishnan, and Louis "Fish" Fisher. Learn more about them here!
